KT Brison is the mother and blogger behind Lit Mama Homeschool and a veteran in the homeschooling world. Once a librarian and educator, she left two jobs she adored to homeschool her boys. In her blog, she shares her homeschooling experiences together with resources and tips that can be helpful to other families.
She recently told the story of how Smartick had changed the frustrating experience her youngest son had with math. We were delighted to hear about it. With only 15 minutes a day, “the boy who had dreaded math pretty much since birth is excited about it now,” explains KT. “He’s actually starting to retain. And his calculation speed has quadrupled. In a month of doing Smartick online, his overall math performance has surpassed anything I have tried, anything I could have done as a mama, and anything he expected of himself.”

We were very pleased to hear KT mention that if she asks her son what subject he wants to work on first, he would pick math with Smartick!
The fact that her son is able to work independently on Smartick has relieved a lot of tension in their homeschooling routine, and she is still able to monitor everything her son works on through the parents’ dashboard and daily reports.
